LIBRARY-RELATED EVENTS Library Board of Trustees meets at 4:30PM on the second Tuesday of every other month, except during July, August and December. A special meeting may be called at any time by the Board President. ++++++++++ Friends of the Library is for ALL our friends -- local and rural. If you are interested in books, libraries, and the library programs, you are cordially invited to come to a Friends of the Library meeting to check it out. OR Call the Library at 665-1780 for more information. Friends meets bi-monthly. Call the library to find out the date of the next meeting. ++++++++++ Friends of the Library BOOK SALE is an ongoing project in the entry way of the library. Come check out the bargains in hardbacks and paperbacks. Many are in mint condition and are second copies or extras of materials given to the library. Paperbacks are 12/$1.00 or .10 each. Hardcover books are NEW $1.00, USED .50. How's that for a bargain!!! ++++++++++ READING CLUB meets at 10:30 a.m. the third Monday each month. Attendees read a book of their choice and give a pro or con report about it. If interested in joining the group, please call 665-1780, or show up on that date. ++++++++++ NEW FOR YOUNG PARENTS: Books to help you teach your baby such things as reading, math, and physical fitness. Stop in and get inspired to nurture those young minds for success in later life. ++++++++++ SENIOR CITIZENS: IS IT DIFFICULT TO GET TO THE LIBRARY? Your librarians take books to the Senior Center twice monthly for checkout. Save yourselves a few steps and enjoy a good book. We also have Homebound services. Just give us a call and let us know what you want and it will be delivered to you. ++++++++++ FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY needs volunteers to read to residents at Ponderosa Villa.
